Pilates Classic

  • The beauty in Pilates is that it’s gentle and hard at the same time. It can be elegant, intense, playful, meditative, it can be different every time.

    The benefits, however, will remain consistent: improved strength, increased mind & body connection, better balance, greater mobility and flexibility, elevated mood. A total win.

    The class is suitable for all levels, and participants are guided along 2 main principles: 1) stay safe and work with your body 2) take just one step out of your comfort zone - and watch that zone expand.

Rooftop Pilates

  • Good weather is finally here and what better way is to celebrate than spending time outdoors, invigorated by fresh air and gentle sunshine, and great company?

    The rooftop sessions will be impromptu added to the calendar on presumably sunny days.

    Please bring your own mat.

  • Spontaneously on warm dry days, available to book in the calendar.

  • Keep an eye out for these seasonal events - with limited dates they sell out fast.

    Connecting with nature is proven to have many health benefits so why not stack those benefits by adding a pilates class on top. Pilates in front of the tulips at a farm, in gentle spring sunshine, fresh air, surrounded by on orgy of colours. Or by a lake. In a forest. At the beach, between sand dunes.

    Please bring your own mat to these events.

  • Absolutely. The classes are suitable for all levels and I offer options throughout the class to ensure every participant is working within their ability.

  • Please reach out to have a detailed discussion about this. In general Pilates is a safe and effective method to improve joint mobility, muscle flexibility, balance, coordination, muscle strength and endurance, and ultimately posture.

  • Yes, post-natal Pilates is a safe method to re-gain pelvic floor strength, pelvic stability, and core strength. Please do let me know before the class though so I can offer suitable modifications.

  • Yes! In Pilates we move to find joy, breathe freely, and get stronger. Pilates it’s not about perfection, nor a race, it’s about improving our quality of life.

  • Wear comfortable and stretchy clothing that allows for free movement. Choose items with no folds or pockets on the back.

  • Mats are provided. Please feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer that. You may also bring a bottle of water and a face towel.
